Silence is the natural state of mind

Silence is the natural state of mind. Mind returns spontaneously to silence after every experience as experiences happen in the background of Silence.

What stops the mind from returning back to silence is the attachment to the result of the experience - Judging, comparing, contradicting, seeking -wanting more or less, not accepting as-is.

An unconditional love, selfless work and indifference to results (complete acceptance and no seeking) leads to silence. Silence can only lead the movement of silence and not mere talking about silence.

Begin by letting thoughts flow and watch them. The very observation will slow down the mind and stop all together. Be choiceless-ly aware. Once mind is quiet. Keep it.
